Forum Engineering Inc. (hereinafter referred as “Company”) announces that its subsidiary in India, Cognavi India Private Limited (hereinafter referred as “Cognavi India”) will begin providing job-hunting support to students at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (hereinafter “IIT Madras”).
The Indian Institutes of Technology (hereinafter referred as “IIT”) are among India’s leading and difficult-to-enter institutions of higher technical education that are always ranked highly in global university rankings. There are 23 IITs in India. Among them, IIT Madras is ranked first* in the overall category of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (hereinafter referred as “NIRF”) rankings that are announced annually by India’s Ministry of Education. The IIT supplies excellent personnel to global companies.
*In the 2024 NIRF rankings
The announced initiative provides job-hunting support to students at IIT Madras through the Cognavi job-hunting support service operated by Cognavi India.
Capitalizing on the artificial intelligence that is a signature characteristic of Cognavi and the knowledge the Company has cultivated in the staffing industry in Japan, the service will help students with activities for finding employment at Japanese and Indian companies. The initiative has the following four key points.
1.Support for global job-hunting activities
Cognavi connects IIT Madras students and companies in Japan and in India and helps these students obtain internships and full-time job opportunities.
2.Culture and language training
Cognavi will provide language learning support and hold orientations for adapting to Japanese culture to help students who have accepted unofficial job offers from Japanese companies to help them start working smoothly.
3.Video AI to support job interview preparation One of Cognavi’s features is an AI tool for job interview exercises that is provided free of charge to students at IIT Madras to help them prepare for job interviews.
4.Workshops to prepare for working in Japan
Cognavi will hold workshops aimed at helping students who will be working in Japan understand Japanese culture.
This initiative will give Cognavi India the advantage of having a large number of IIT Madras students as registrants and it is expected to increase the number of large companies from around the world who wish to hire IIT Madras students that visit and contact Cognavi India. While providing the service to IIT Madras, Cognavi India will step up its efforts to introduce the service at other IITs.
Cognavi India is set to start providing job-hunting support to IIT Bombay students as well. It will be offering these support services for students at a total of three IITs, including IIT Delhi.
